Manipulated Justice

So America, we have come to this. A justice system that is blind but only in one eye. Seems lady justice lifts her blindfold to see if the person she represents is black or white before justice is administered.

I became privy to the news that the family of the white boy attacked by the Jena 6 is suing the Jena school board for failure to provide protection for their son, and suing the families of the Jena 6 for the attack.

Ok, under normal circumstances, I would have said that was the correct and proper thing to do; however, Jena is not a set of normal circumstances.

This is the same environment where the District Attorney threatened to Take Away The Lives of black students With The Stroke Of A Pen simply because they protested the injustice of nooses being hung from a stupid tree in the high school's commons. There was no protection for black students who became the victim of racial slurs, and unprovoked altercations as fall out from the noose incident. The parents of those students were not allowed any acceptable form of legal recourse. As a result, an innocent white boy was attacked. It is the typical cornered dog theory. If you back a dog into a corner and kick it, the dog will bite, plain and simple.

None of the black families had the resources to sue the school board or the district attorney, so essentially they were being told to just sit by and shut up. If that is justice, then I can fully understand why America is in the moral straits that it is.

So we have backlash, and a white boy is beat up. Funny thing is, the white boy was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries, and attended a party later that evening. Now, his family is being allowed to sue because of minor injuries; however, has anyone taken into account the deep emotional injury caused by the "prank" of the nooses, and the racial slurs thrown at the black children? Go ahead, say yes, I dare you. Especially when Senator Conyers held a farce of hearing on the topic which resulted in nothing more than face time for himself. The bottom line America is this; Jena LA snubbed their nose at the black population, but uplifts the white population. So much for land of the free, eh?

If justice is truly blind in this case, the the right thing will be done. Since nothing was done to the school system in the aftermath of the attacks on the black children, nothing should be done as a result of the family of the white boy desiring to sue. The families of the Jena 6 should not be made to pay for the attack on the white boy. Instead, the entire community should have a multi-cultural come together month so that each race can begin to understand one another.

This separate brand of justice for black people in America has got to stop. After all, the saying is "And Justice For All", not "And justice for white people only".

Arrests Made In The Murder Of Sean Taylor

MIAMI (Nov. 30) - Police said the four people arrested Friday in the shooting death of Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor went to his home intent on stealing, not killing.


The suspects didn't expect Taylor to be there, said Miami-Dade County police Director Robert Parker, but Taylor was recuperating from a knee injury and had returned home from Washington. When Taylor surprised them, he was shot.

"They were certainly not looking to go there and kill anyone," Parker said. "They were expecting a residence that was not occupied. So murder or shooting someone was not their initial motive."

Police spokeswoman Linda O'Brien identified the four suspects as:

O'Brien said the charges for each had not yet been determined, but "we are talking murder and burglary."

Authorities said they had more than one confession, but Parker would not elaborate.

The four were arrested Friday in southwest Florida, about 100 miles from Miami. They will be booked into the Lee County Jail and eventually will be returned to Miami, O'Brien said. She did not have any information on when they would appear in court, their hometowns or if they had attorneys.

Janelle Hall, a spokeswoman for Miami-Dade County jail, said security reasons prevented her from releasing information regarding when the suspects would be transferred to Miami.

The 24-year-old Pro Bowl safety died Tuesday, one day after being shot at his home in an affluent Miami suburb during what officials said appeared to be an attempted burglary.





Police have been investigating a possible link to a Nov. 17 break-in at Taylor's home, during which they said someone pried open a front window, rifled through drawers and left a kitchen knife on a bed.

"We're looking into whether or not one or more of the individuals had been at the residence before," Parker said.

Family friend Richard Sharpstein said at least one of the suspects was at Taylor's house when his sister recently had a party, but that Taylor did not know the men.

"It's a burglary, and they targeted him for his wealth," said Sharpstein, who's Taylor's former attorney. "It makes his death even more pathetic, unnecessary and just actually disgusting."

Sharpstein had not spoken with Taylor's family regarding the arrests, but said he doubted it provided any comfort.

"I know they are just saddened and appalled. The fact that they arrested his killer is no comfort to them," he said. "It probably inflames them more, because it tells them people were trying to steal from him.

"They are murderers. They should be treated like murderers and put in the Miami River and floated away."

The Miami Herald reported on its Web site that Mitchell and Wardlow had connections to Taylor. Mitchell cut Taylor's lawn and did other chores at the house, Mitchell's twin brother, Scottie, told the paper. Taylor's sister, Sasha Johnson, dates Wardlow's older cousin Christopher, and Scottie Mitchell told the paper the couple invited Jason Mitchell to Johnson's birthday party within the past two months.

A woman who identified herself as Jason Mitchell's mother told the Naples Daily News her son was at a birthday party at Sean Taylor's home a couple months ago. She also said her son was at home all week and last weekend.

"I don't know where he's at, I don't know why he's being held," she told the Naples paper. "No parent should see this happen to their child."

O'Brien would not confirm the reports when contacted by The Associated Press.

Taylor and longtime girlfriend, Jackie Garcia, were awakened early Monday by loud noises at Taylor's home in an affluent Miami suburb. Taylor grabbed a machete he keeps in the bedroom for protection, Sharpstein said. Someone broke through the bedroom door and fired two shots, one missing and one hitting Taylor in the upper leg. Neither the couple's 18-month-old daughter, also named Jackie, nor Garcia were injured.

The bullet damaged the femoral artery in Taylor's leg, causing significant blood loss. Taylor never regained consciousness and died a little more than 24 hours later.

A public viewing for Taylor is scheduled Sunday in Miami, and the entire Redskins organization plans to fly to Florida to attend Monday's funeral at Pharmed Arena at Florida International University.

The Redskins also announced that fans attending Sunday's game will receive a towel with Taylor's No.21 jersey on it, and his name will be displayed prominently in one end zone.

Redskins owner Dan Snyder said the team will contribute a minimum of $500,000 to a fund to benefit Taylor's daughter, and he released a statement late Friday acknowledging the arrests.

"This is another step, but not a conclusion, in a very personal and painful tragedy," he said. "I also want to thank everyone who has joined us in mourning the loss of Sean. People from all over the world contacted the Redskins to share our grief and offer their prayers for Sean and his family. We will never forget the courage his family, especially Jackie, Pete and Donna, have shown. Their composure has been a source of strength for us all."

Brother Hoose's Tale Of Rap

Once upon a time, not too long ago, there was a genre of music called "Rap". With the sole purpose of bringing to light the issues that plague inner city life, "Rap" took on a demi-political presence. Then came the dark forces.

The greedy record producers who paid large sums of money for our rappers to call themselves "N"'s, to call our ladies "B"'s and "H"'s, and to sell out to a bunch of stories about 187's and booties working the pole in some strip bar.

These greedy producers are more interested in how far a rapper's pant can sag, and how much flesh the female rappers and video girls show, that they detracted "rap" from its purpose, than being bringing to light the plight of the inner city.

"Rap's" message about inner city poverty, and urine soaked allies was replaced by a bunch of "Yeah", "Uh Huh, uh Huh", "what?", and "Git it gurl". As a result, "Rap's" message is lost because of the lust for money.

Ironically, this is just how mainstream America wants "Rap" to be. Just a bunch of saggin, drug promoting, womanizing boys and girls with microphones.

How about this; let us flip the script on Mainstream America. How about a clean cut, well dressed, professionally minded African American with a college degree putting it down for us?

Wait a minute, we have someone like that. Trouble is, Master P realizes that Mainstream America will not respect the clean cut image, so he puts on the image of an under educated gang banger.

"Rap" needs to stop allowing the desires of Mainstream America to shape its destiny. Otherwise, we will lose track of our real culture and will never be able to live "Happily Every After".

How Can We, When We?

The death of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor bring to light, once again, the senselessness of violence in America. It also highlights our overall lack of concern for one another in this, the world's greatest, and sole remaining superpower.

Sean Taylor's home was broken into only a week prior to his being shot. Need I say that the person who shot him also broke into his home, and there is speculation that the shooter may have been involved in the first break in?

So here we sit, like a bunch of pompous, self righteous blow hearts shaking our finger at the rest of the world, while internally we do the very same thing that we are telling the rest of the world not to do. Our president sends our soldiers to die so that people in Iraq do not have to worry about getting shot at, while American citizens are getting shot and killed every single day.

To say that our priorities are out of whack is a true understatement. Where are the police patrols in the neighborhoods? Oh, silly me, I forgot. We must have money to fund such patrols, and at this point, most civic budgets are pushed to the very edges of the envelopes.

So here we are, America the self righteous; "No, no, no! You should not shoot your country man, it does not make a difference that he is a Kurd, and you are a Sunni." Yet we are here, in America shooting people just because guns flow like water. Thank you NRA, now go lobby for Gatling Guns.

Yes America, I am upset. Sean Taylor should be gearing up to play to the cheers of his family and fans, not laying in state to the tears of hi s family and friends. And the same is true to anyone who has fallen in this country to random, or perhaps intentional gun violence.

It is just so amazing to me that we can not control the violence here in America, but we can go overseas and impose our will on others. Quick, show of hands; how many of you idiots voted Republican during the last election cycle? Oh, look at that, afraid to put that hand up. Well, I wanted to say thank you for being one of the many people who handed America over to murderers, rapists and thieves. I also would like to thank you for proving that a little more than 50% of America is so easily lead by an idiot.

As for the portion of America who voted intelligently, this is our now. Time to hand the GOP a pink slip and get those radical retards out of office. America has been dumbed down enough over the course of the last 8 years. If you do not like any of the Democratic candidates, then write in someone who is going to do the right thing. Regardless, we need to get those gun loving, racially biased, war munging, double talking, KKK supporting Republicans out of office. We need to take back our America.

Preaching Without A Voice

National Sermon Writers Guild Strike Leave Preachers With Nothing To Preach

Far be it for me to ever point a finger at anyone for their shortcomings. Ok, Ok, so that is just what I do. On any account, I happened across a rather interesting story today. Seem the National Sermon Writer's Guild decided to go on strike, and now hundreds of preachers across the nation are left with nothing to preach on Sunday.

Ok, after I picked myself up off of the floor from laughing so hard, I regained my composure and begin to write this entry.

Let us consider what a preacher is. A preacher is a purveyor of the word of God. The preacher takes the word of God and puts it into terms that everyone can understand. Like the lovable mother Penguin, the preacher consumes the word and regurgitates it into the spirits of his or her flock thus creating a feeling of satisfaction based solely on the word of God. The preacher should be able to take the Bible and make the scripture come to life without the need for an outline. Seems to me that what a lot of preachers should be doing is not what they are doing.

It is one thing for a preacher to have a pre-written sermon that he or she created, but to have a union write the scriptures which they preach is an affront to the blessings of God. Did Jesus stand on the top of the mountain while he waited for Simon Peter to write his sermon?

We wonder about the spiritual state of America, why it has become so challenged over the course of the past 30 years. The answer is right here before us. many of the people who preach the word do not know enough about the word to be able to deliver it without a road map. That is a dog gone shame if you ask me. Heck, it is a dog gone shame even if you don't ask me.

The pastor of my church, Restoration Anointed Ministries, is by far one of the most learned men of God that I know. Even though he prepares his lesson (he writes his own), more often than not, he ends up bringing the word directly out of the Bible. His is the gift of interpretation , and what a mighty gift it is. He does not need a plan, all he needs is the Bible, and with that he will make Moses, Daniel, David, Saul, he will make the entire Bible speak in ministry to everyone within earshot. That is how a good preacher delivers the word of God. Good preachers do not sit in their offices the night before wondering if they will repeat the pre-written sermon from the week prior.

You know, some pre-written sermons are entertaining; however, when it gets to the point where the congregation knows the sermon word for word, then we have a problem. I mean really, how many times can we listen to "And Lo, Them Bones Were Dry!" After a while, the flock begins to wonder if the preacher is really preaching, or if he is just merely reading.

I don't know about you, but I get enough reading during the course of the week. I go to church to hear the preacher bring a word from God. I am sure God is not sitting in Heaven telling the preacher "Pull April 2nd 2005, that was a good one."

In my humble opinion, a preacher should be able to preach regardless of the situation. That preacher should be able to bring the word directly from the Bible. Perhaps this is the difference between those who paid a Seminary, and those who were honestly called by God.

Smoke and Mirrors

You have got to love the American Media. See, just when the people start to get a whiff of something being "Not Quite Right", the media turns into an electronic David Copperfield, and fills our sights with another distractor.

Case in point; The big topic in America presently is the relationship between the races. make no bones about it, America is sliding down a slippery slope into what could become a racial civil war. Everyone is up in arms about nooses, the use of the N-Word, torture, rape, slighting of rights, all of the negative racial elements which led into the struggle for civil rights in the first place.

The government knows that the eyes of the American public have opened, and soon government will have to be held accountable for what is happening with regards to race in America. Enter the secret weapon of the government, that weapon being the media. George Orwell, eat your freaking heart out; Big Brother is out to control the minds of those who's knowledge is limited to only that which CNN chooses to tell them.

The media floats a story about Kenyan police death squads (man hunters I think is what they called them) exterminating a gang of thugs. Why are these images shown? Because 90% of all American have a soft spot for whoever is identified as the victim. Suddenly we go from holding the government accountable for our issues to "That's wrong, we need to do something about that". In other words, we give the government exactly what they want; the focus is now off of them, and onto some trumped up crisis which really is none of our business. In other words, we fall for the good ole Smoke and Mirrors effect.

Now, while we are busy chanting to stop the killing of gang members in Kenya, nooses are being hung on any tree with a branch hanging low enough for some beer bellied neanderthal to reach. Children are being lead away from their homes by sex offenders. Women are being beat up by men who hide behind the "Devil Made Me Do It" story. Schools are getting shot up. Rights are being systematically taken away. America is imploding, and why? Because our focus was placed on someone else's cause.

How can we justly insist on someone else cleaning up their mess if we are not willing to set an example? Hey Iraq, those stones represent terrorism and must be thrown out; meanwhile, our back yard is full of terrorist stones. Before we tell someone else how to clean up their yard, let's grab some rakes and clean up ours first.

Popular Opinion Out Weighs Ignorance Anyday!!

The Ignorance: The Minnesota Vikings decision to withhold Troy Williamson's game check because he missed the San Diego game to be with his grieving family in the aftermath of his grandmother's funeral. This action was highly insensitive and threatened to give the Vikings the kind of negative press that would ensure that they held a coveted spot at the bottom of the most popular teams list. Essentially what the Vikings were saying is they cared not about the family situation, in their eyes Troy Williamson needed to be on the football field, period.

Well, America spoke out, and the voices rang loud and clear. Minnesota Vikings, you have about as much common sense as a retarded pigeon trying to fly under water. We ranted, we raved, and finally, the Vikings caved. In what was regarded as a "Change of heart", the Vikings gave Troy Williamson his game check, and stated it was all a big misunderstanding.

Now, to show us just what kind of man Troy Williamson is. He takes the check, not for himself, but instead donates it to charity. That action speaks volumes about the character of Troy Williamson. My hat goes off to Troy.

To the Minnesota Vikings, I would also like to say that we appreciate you for making the right decision regarding this issue. Football teams are families, but we can not forget that the football players came from families.

Our Condolenses - Hope This Fine Eases Your Pain

How much does a funeral for a dearly departed relative cost today? For Troy Williamson of the Minnesota Vikings it was $25,000, well that was the fine charged to him by the Vikings because Williamson missed a game to be with his family after a funeral.

Seems to the Vikings, it was more important to have Williamson on the football field then for him to be in a position to comfort his grieving family. Gee, are the Vikings sucking that bad this year that one player makes all the difference in the world. There are only two possible outcomes to a football game; you either win, or you lose. The truth of the matter is the Vikings would have lost with Williamson there just as much as the would won without him there. That is why they call it a team; you should have enough in reserves to fill the void in an emergency situation like this.

I am appalled at the Vikings for their insensitive decision to fine Troy Williamson. It was not as if he got drunk and missed the Superbowl or something like that. The man's presence was needed to comfort his grieving family; is that a little too much to ask of the NFL?

Have the Vikings forgotten that had it not been for his family there would be no Troy Williamson to fine in the first place? Have our priorities in this country gotten so out of whack that we regard these football players as items instead of human beings?

Personally, I thank the Minnesota Vikings owe Troy Williamson $25,000, and owe his family a big televised apology. Either that, or I am sure there are teams who would be willing to accept Williamson as a free agent. So what do you say Minnesota? You already lost Moss, and Culpepper. You want to lose Williamson too?

The man was not playing hookie, he had a legitimate excuse. Why don't you fine your owner for being stupid?

Race Relations In The United States - Part 1

The Declaration of Independence - How it applies

- We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. -

Words that were eloquently written by the founding fathers of our great nation 230 years ago. Words that we seldom reflect on for guidance. Words that do not seem to mean anything to our present governing bodies.

There were only 13 states when Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence. Indeed, the United States had not yet been born, and as such, the Declaration of Independence is to be regarded as the foundation of the United States of America. In essence, the passage above simply states "The truth is all men are equal, and have the same God given rights including the rights of Life, Freedom, and Happiness."

All men means mankind in its entirety, not merely a certain cross section of the population, all men is all inclusive. With that thought in mind, slavery should have ended with the signing of the Declaration of Independence, as slaves fit into the category of "All Men." Yet many people remained enslaved even after the writing and signing of the Declaration of Independence. Why was that, if the leaders of the United States of America thus proclaimed that everybody was equal? The answer is quite simple. Americans are know for a pompous arrogance that is so profound that it prevents us from reading items which we sign our name to. In short, everybody thought it was a good idea because it slapped King George in the face. No one took into account that the Declaration was actually Hanan's Gallows.

Many of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were slave owners. Even though the slave owners did everything in their power to keep their slaves ignorant to what was going on, there was still the probability of a few who were capable of understanding the written text. So, to prevent the enlightenment of the Declaration's power away from the slave - to keep Eve from the fruit tree -the slave owners simply did not reveal the contents of the Declaration of Independence to any of their slaves. This represents a great deception that has laid the foundation for what we are experiencing in our present existence.

Through hoodwinking a cross section of society, a certain people can assume a perceived superiority over another. It is as if to say "They are not aware of this information, so we have the upper hand", and it is the stalwart of such white supremacist groups as the Klu Klux Klan, Aryan Nation, and Skinheads. The problem, is that even though we have several learned scholars in the African American community, there is still a stubborn refusal on our part to hold the powers that be to the guidelines so established by the founding fathers.

On issues of racism, many of us have taken the approach of "Oh well, it's not going to make a difference anyway", and as a result it is not making a difference. The Declaration of Independence is a legal and binding document that can be used as the basis of mitigatory actions against those who seek to violate it. America has gone to war over our nation's right to be free, yet African Americans in our present day are afraid to stand up for the same right as guaranteed in the Declaration of Independence.

Anyone who fashions or displays a noose should be held accountable for violating the right of Liberty (freedom) of a particular cross section of America. See, we have an understanding of the Bill of Rights, or perhaps we don't. We allow the violators of the Declaration of Independence to do so under the cover of freedom of speech, yet we fail to hold them accountable to responsibility of speech. In other word, a racist who displays a noose says he is just expressing himself, and he is allowed to under freedom of speech; however, such an expression often fuels discontent that eventually leads to conflict. As such, before such an expression is made, the responsibility rested in weighing the consequences. Thus we fall back on the Declaration of Independence. The displaying of the noose is an expression that violated the liberty (freedom) of a particular cross section of the population. The person displaying the noose used free speech but was not responsible. The Truth is all men are created equal and have the same God given rights,  so swift action against the person displaying the noose is required and should not be considered punishable.

The bottom line is a simple one; no portion of American society should be treated any differently from another. Shoot a white person and he bleeds the same as a black person who had been shot does. We have the same physical attributes, the same abilities, the same visions. In that regard, we are "All Men" and according to the Declaration of Independence, we are equal. We need to stop rolling over and allowing racism to plague our existence. It is time to take a stand.

All-Female Street Fight Ends In Murder

A pregnant woman was killed and another victim was in critical condition and expected to lose her leg after a woman rammed her car into a planned street fight, authorities said Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007. (CBS)

(AP) A pregnant woman was killed and two other people were injured when a woman rammed her car into them during a planned street fight involving as many as 30 young women, authorities said.

The driver of the car, Unique Bishop, 21, fled after Monday afternoon's fight but later turned herself in to authorities and was booked for investigation of murder, police said. She was being held on $1 million bail.

"It was totally an intentional act to kill the woman. It was the driver's way of settling the dispute. It was a horrific act," said LAPD Deputy Chief Charlie Beck.

It was not immediately known if Bishop had obtained an attorney.

Shontae Treniece Blanche, 22, was killed in the confrontation, police said Tuesday. She was eight months pregnant.

One of the other victims was in critical condition and was expected to lose her leg, police said. The names of the two injured women were not released.

Police said the cause of the dispute is unclear, but that it was part of a planned confrontation between two groups of women in their early 20s. Witnesses told police they saw women shouting at each other and fighting at a discount store parking lot. The fight then moved onto the street and into a gas station.

Dozens gathered at the gas station and watched as Bishop got into her car and drove it into the group, investigators said. One of the victims was pinned against another car, police said.

"We have seen women around gangs before, but we haven't seen anything like this event before," said police Cmdr. Pat Gannon.

Y'all ready for me? Ok Here I Come:

What in the name of Ju Ju Beans would possess a woman who is 8 months pregnant to get involved in a street fight? People use guns in street fights, people use knives, and now we know they use cars too.

So now the woman is dead, and her child is dead too; and for what? To gain bragging rights about who is the baddest b$@ch on the block?

It is obvious that the other girls in the brawl could have cared less about the welfare of the unborn child. Heck, it is obvious that the mother did not care either. The only things these retards cared about was settling a score; nothing more, nothing less.

Normally I would take the high road of going after the factors contributing to the social climate in our communities; however, this was more a case of personal irresponsibility and general stupidity on the part of the mother. At times it is best to just walk away from a situation. This crazy concept of "I ain't gonna let nobody play me" has got to stop. You are 20 years old, and you don't know everything. You replace common sense with street smarts, and the fact of the matter is being street smart is just plain dumb. When God gives a woman a child to carry, he entrusts her with the future of mankind. I guess the future does not mean much to some people.

You can probably tell I am a little more than just upset over this article. Just a little common sense would have kept a woman alive, and introduced a new baby into the world. One final thought, she was eight months pregnant. I wonder if that child would have been born on December 25th?

Going Up!!!

Just when you thought the worst was over, and things were leveling out. Just when you thought it was Ok to take that long road trip. Just when you thought it was safe to fill up the F150, the Minivan or the SUV, GASZILLA strikes again.

Prices at the pumps are over the $3.00 per gallon mark for regular unleaded gasoline once again. Only this time, it may creep as high as $4.00 per gallon nationally. For areas like New York and Southern California, they may actually see $4.00 a gallon sooner than later. Kind of makes a person long for the days of the Yugo, huh?

This is a serious situation. You see, the gas prices are but a mere indicator of the direction our economy is heading in, and quickly. See, when the gas prices go up, other prices go up as well. It is basic cause and effect. Take for example the cost of an average gallon of milk. In order for the milk to arrive in the stores, trucks must deliver it. The average cost of a gallon a diesel fuel is $3.30 per gallon, and your average Peterbuilt burns through a tank of gas a whole lot quicker than the average passenger vehicle. So, the trucker have to pay more in gas to transport the milk to the stores, they charge the dairy houses more to transport the good. To recoup their loses, the dairy houses charge the consumer more per gallon of milk.

The American economy is on the brink of a fiscal implosion which can only lead us down the pathway to a recession, or even worst, a depression. That's right people, soup lines, brother can you spare a dime, that kind of depression.

Why are we like this? Why is the economy of the world's only remaining superpower floundering? Why are we in a fiscal turmoil? Well, when Congress is afraid to grab their nuts and tell the President that we are not going to allow him to run rough shot over the country anymore; when our elected leadership loses the balls to enforce checks and balances, the President has a free hand to do whatever he wants to do with our economy.

The Bush Administration has succeeded in reducing the Legislative Branch of government to a bunch of frightened kittens hiding from the big bad Pit Bull. As it stands presently, whatever George W. Bush wants, George W. Bush gets. Damned the working class people, full speed ahead into the next unjustified conflict.

So, what lays in the balance? Our troops are being worn out by long deployments away from home, while Bush plots how he if going to move his bishop. Our schools are suffering due to lack of resources. No Child Left Behind is creating a generation of puppets who's strings are easily controlled by some Texas Ranger want to be. Our homes are being foreclosed on, people are losing jobs, our economy is in a shambles. All this in less than eight years. Bet you all did not count on this to occur when you rushed to ensure Gore would not be elected. Wow, Bush did all of this, and the only thing Clinton did was get a blow job.

Bottom line people is this; as long as the White House pushes their policy of war, our economy will suffer. Our troops will suffer, our children will suffer, hell, we all will suffer. Is this your idea of America?

I'm Sorry Ni...I Mean Black People

I did not mean to add yet another slap in the face to an entire race of people who have brought so many gifts to this world. Such a nice apology, perfectly written by his publicist, without a shred of remorse in it. Word on the street is Duane "Dog The Bounty Hunter" Chapman is going to drop the use of the N-Word. Ok, hold on, I am picking myself up from the floor, I was laughing so hard.

Duane Chapman has obviously been using the N-Word since he was probably old enough to speak. Most children learn to say "Momma" and "Dada", but Duane's first word was most likely "N@&&er." I mean who does this clown think he is fooling?

Ok, he pisses off his son, because Tucker is dating a black woman. He fires his son, because Tucker is dating a black woman. He does all of this and you mean to tell me he did not expect Tucker to put him out on front street? I guess Duane Chapman must have realized that a sizable portion of his viewers are black, because he immediately got in contact with Al Sharpton for a little "damage control". News Flash Duane, damage is done "Brother."

Now, perhaps I am being a little harsh on Mr. Chapman; however, a leopard can not change his spots any easier than a Klansman can change his sheets. By the way, do those people change their sheets? I think it has been established that they do not change their clothes. Anyway, Duane "Dog" Chapman opened his mouth and stuck his foot right in it. Now he expects some half baked apology to make everything alright? Some people never cease to amaze me.

Fantasy Is Reality

The election is looming ever closer every day, and the candidates are starting to field their battle cries. Well the Democrats are at least, the Republicans have been strangely quiet lately. In a recent news article, Barrak Obama introduced his plan to combat AIDS in America. He is not alone, as Senators Clinton and Edwards also have plans to combat AIDS as well. Obama wants to aggressively pursue his plan during his first year in office, if elected. That's a nice tight shot, but now let's uncrop the photo.

Obama is basing his statements on several assumptions, the first assumption being he will be elected. I like Obama, and he most likely will get my vote; however, Clinton is currently the front runner with a lead of more than 20 points. Clinton is also gaining support in the African American community. Hey, we regarded Bill Clinton as the "First Black President", as such maybe we are looking at Hilliary as the first "Soul Sister for President". One thing is for certain, she will not sit up in the White House and get her pole polished as Bill did. Might get her carpet cleaned, but who knows. In order for Obama to be elected, he would first have to defeat Clinton in the primaries. That is possible, but it will be a challenge. Now, what if Obama is not elected? What becomes of his AIDS plan then? Will he play the role of the sour little boy who takes his ball and goes home, or will he still find a way to institute his plan through a foundation or something? In other words; how committed is Obama to this AIDS plan? Is it just an election year fantasy, or is it a true reality?

Just suppose for a moment that Obama is elected. Obama wants to dedicate his first year in office to the implementation of his AIDS plan. That is bold when we consider one radical factor, that being the Bush factor. George W. Bush is still in office, and still has the ability to draw America into a conflict that can become World War III. Presently Bush is making threats towards Iran, and he is pissing off Russia. In fact, Russia has already resumed sorties over key NATO areas. And speaking of NATO; America is in Iraq supporting the Kurds, and the Kurds are starting a fight with Turkey (a NATO ally), so essentially are troops are caught between a rock and a hard place. Should a conflict with Iran ensue, Russia is certain to become involved to protect their borders, and now we have a multi-national conflict. Bottom line is this, the next president will be left to clean up the mess created by the Bush administration. With that thought in mind, it may be highly unlikely that Obama will be able to focus his first year on the deployment of his AIDS plan. If he does, he will fall back on another commitment, that being to bring our troops home quickly. You are damned if you do, you are damned if you don't. As a result, Obama's first year fantasy may have to give way to a reality created by George W. Bush.

Another assumption is that everyone in America is going to rally around a black President. Martin Luther King had a fantasy when he dreamed that everyone would come together and realize that we are all essentially the same. The reality is that there are several idiots in America who can only see in two colors, black and white. If we think we have seen a resurgence of nooses now, wait until an actual black man is elected President. Those punks in the KKK, and Skinheads will have a freaking cow. what a shame that they do not realize that it is statistically impossible to say that there is anything purely white or purely black anywhere in America these days. racism is fueled by ignorance. Given the fact that most white supremacists have less than a 9th grade education, playing the logic card is certainly not an option. If elected, Barrak Obama will surely be faced with a racial separation of America in a scale not previously experienced by this nation. Indeed, this separation would make the Civil Rights movement seem tamed.

An extremely learned scholar, George Clinton, once said "Fantasy is reality in the world today. I'll keep hanging in there. That's the only way." That statement was made in 1973, and ironically it is applicable advice for what Obama is yet to experience. The only way Obama will be a success is for him to stick to his guns; Keep hanging in there, that's the only way.

Duane "Dog"Chapman's Racist Ranting To His Son Tucker

If there is one thing I can not stand more than a racist, it would have to be someone who pretends he is not so the public would like him. For those of you who may not know what I am talking about, I am speaking about the recent interaction between Duane "Dog" Chapman and his son Tucker which resulted in Duane Chapman becoming front page news on the National Enquirer.

Let me slow the pace down for those of you who have been under a rock lately. Tucker Chapman is dating a black woman. Nothing wrong with that at all. After all, many black men date white women. Nothing wrong with a little case of Jungle Fever, especially if the two truly like one another.

As it turns out, Duane is not too crazy about Tucker's taste in lady friends. At least someone in the family has evolved beyond the Neanderthal stage of human existence, even if others have not quite reached that stage of the Pokemon game. Some of us are more than capable of looking beyond what we are externally, and looking to what we are internally. Either that or Tucker prefers to read Jet as opposed to Cosmo.

Duane, on the other hand, must prefer bland foods. It is clearly obvious that he prefers for his pepper not to touch his salt. So here we have an icon of American Entertainment spewing the N-Word like it is water, and saying in the same breath that he does not have a problem with black people. That is almost like a black person saying white men prefer white wife beaters and blue jeans so they can feel patriotic. Only the swift will catch that preceding statement.

We have enough problems with race relations in America to have to contend with someone who decides he wants to burn both ends of the candle. Almost makes a person wonder if Duane Chapman shakes a black man's hand while signing an autograph, if he immediately reaches for the bottle of hand sanitizer afterwards. Judging by the grunge of his appearance, he probably pours a little Budweiser on his hands and proceeds to sign the next autograph.

Far be it for me to ever pass judgement on anyone, but Duane needs to participate in an immersion experiment. Place him in an area where he has to count on someone not like him for his survival. Send him to SEAR training, and let's see how he fares. Better than that, blindfold him and put him in the middle of Queens, Harlem or Watts, and let's see if his Good Ole Boy breed of racism keeps him safe from harm.

As I stated earlier, even though I would not like it, I would have respected him more if he was just open with his racism, instead of trying to cover it up so that people would watch him on TV. Well, thanks to Tucker, the cat is out of the bag, and this Dog is going to have his day to defend his beliefs against those who thought he was something more than a mere racist.

Are Children Safe Anywhere, Anymore?

If there is anything I regard as a pet peeve, it would be someone doing anything to harm a child. Acts such as that are deplorable in my eyes, and the very thought just rips a hole in my soul. Still, to this day we are presented with countless stories in the news about children being abducted, raped, tortured, murdered.

I was reading an article on AOL recently about a young girl who was sexually accosted by an adult female employee of the school. Now I know to some that would to be too appalling, after all the Catholic Church received years of negative press as a result of allegations of male alter boys being sexually molested by priest. In fact, I would not be too surprised if several members of our society have become desensitized as a direct result of the constant flow of stories in the media about child molestations.

Regardless of how many times we see it, the bottom line is harming any child is an abomination to God. As adults, we are charged as stewards of the children to ensure that they grow up safely, and with all of the opportunities which we had when we were their age. We a charged with protecting them from hurt, harm, and danger. We are not charged with making them, or treating them like targets.

Yet and still, regardless of the best efforts of the moral right, there are several people walking amongst us who desire nothing more than to hurt a child. These people prey on the children as if observing some sort of weird primal rite. These people place themselves into communities where children live, and wait for an opportunity to strike. These people, often by their own admission, suffer from severe psychological disorders which compels them to lust after what they consider to be weaker prey.

It is now more important than ever for us to keep a closer eye on our children, so that they will not fall victim to some sexually tarnished individual. We must keep them in the borders of Ying, so that they are not made to stray into the wilderness of Yang.

Sounds Like Deja Vu To Me

Seems as if we have been doing this same song and dance since the George H. W. Bush administration. White House accuses country of having nuclear weapons, country denies it. White House fabricates a case for sanctions and requests a nuclear inspection team. Team goes into country, no evidence of nuclear weapons found.

If memory serves me correctly, we used the same argument to justify a war against Iraq. The White House insisted Saddam Hussein was building Weapons Of Mass Destruction (WMD), so we sent inspectors in. The inspectors found nothing, and the White House insisted the inspectors were lying. George Bush orders an invasion to overthrow the government who he alleged to be building a WMD program. Troops go in, overthrow government, White House sets Hussein to be executed, and now our troops are stranded fighting in a country who did not need our assistance in the first place.

Now we have the White House building a similar argument against Iran. With no proof to support the claim of Iran building nuclear weapons, the White House is wholly convinced that Iran is lying.

Recently, the Associated Press posted an article from the UN Inspection team indicating that there is "No Evidence" of Iran attempting to weaponize nuclear material. How will that little tidbit of information fly in the hallowed halls of the White House?

You know, people can think of several ways to commit suicide. Perhaps the easiest way would be to flaunt a virgin nuclear weapons program in the face of the world's sole remaining superpower. No, let's forget suicide; doing something like that is just plain dumb. Here we have the country of Iran who is surrounded by US troops on both major borders. Are we saying that the leadership of Iran is so stupid that they would openly provoke a nuclear showdown in the Persian Gulf? We're not, but George Bush is.

How much longer are we going to allow this Alexander The Great mentality to fester? Are we a nation of Lemmings just following our leader down the pathway to doom? In case you are not aware, Russia is not going to sit idly by while we run rough shot in Iran. We would be knocking on the back door of Russia, geographically speaking. In other words, we would be begging for World War III, only this time, it truly will be the war to end all wars. All of this because we followed the direction of some cartoon character with a store bought degree.

People, realistically speaking, there is a large powder keg in the Persian Gulf, and we have an idiot holding the matches. Need I remind you that even though the Soviet Union dispersed in 1989, the satellite states of the former Soviet Union still have those cold war era nuclear weapons. In my humble opinion, if we fire a shot in Iran, someone is going to fire several shots at us. Only problem is, the shots fired at us are the ones that are intended to wipe out cities with a single warhead. Is it truly worth the risk?

The hand writing is on the wall. George Bush declared war against a ghost (terrorism is not physical, it is ideological, much the same as communism), and now his big Texas sized ego will not permit him to see a way out. Let's watch his eyes, and see if he can bluff his way out of this one.

Time To Lose The Nooses

Is it just me, or has this whole noose thing gone much further than it should have? I am reading a blog on AOL and I happen across a report of some ignorant bastard stringing a noose around the neck of a statue of Tupac in Stone Mountain GA.

OK, let us look past the obvious symbolism of the action. What we actually have is some fool, in need of attention, trying to make a political statement. So, what does this jackass do? He symbolically hangs someone who has been dead for more than 11 years. Think about that for a minute. That would be the same as someone shooting a painting of Elvis. It serves no practical purpose other than the make the person who committed the crime look like the freaking retard he is.

Now that we have established the probable education level of the moron who committed that act of vandalism, let us shift our focus back to the issue of race relations in American in 2007.

It seems that America the beautiful has taken a major step backwards to America the ugly. People are failing to respect each other, and are instead settling for looking down on other races. These cowardly white supremacists are throwing this whole noose thing around like it is water, as well as other racially based assaults. Almost makes a person wonder if those retards are aware that there is nothing pure black, pure white, or pure anything in America anymore.

Oh but hold on, I am not only going after the white supremacists. There are also elements within the African American culture who are systematically, through their ignorance, bringing down the entire culture. That is right, the perceptions of others are often validated by the way we dress, the way we talk, the way we act towards each other, and so on. How can we move forward, if we choose to hold ourselves back? How can we demand others to respect us, if we do not have respect for ourselves?

Jesus is probably comforting Martin Luther King saying "It's OK Martin, you really did your best. They just don't get it."

I have one fundamental question; America, when are we going to wake up and get past this ignorant specter of racism? Can anybody answer that?

Yes, I realize my words are a bit inflammatory, but they needed to be said. I can not stand anyone who harbors a feeling of racism. You know, a few years ago, 10 I think, a little white boy in my neighborhood called my daughter a N-Word. Now I am going to be honest, the me from DC wanted to go and choke the living crap out of the boy's father, and I was just about to do it. Then the logical me set in, and I called for a police officer to go with me while I talked to the boy's father. The Boy and his father met us half way, and you know he was the most apologetic and respectful person he could be. They usually get that way when an armed police officer is looking at them. I told him what his son said, and he denied it, even looking at his son saying "I don't tell you to use that word, do I"? The boy nodded his head as if saying "Oh yes you do." Before the police officer could say anything, I cut him off and I told the boy's father that I have one time to wake up and find a cross burning in my yard, or a Nazi symbol anywhere near my property, and he will wake up and find his dog swinging from a tree. Needless to say, I had no problems after that point.

Racism only festers if we allow it to do so. Stop talking about the act and get in the face of the actor. The Federal Government is not going to do anything to stop the noose problem, so we should put our foot down, preferably on the head of the racist.

Defining Terrorism - Let's Take A Stand

What do we think of when we hear the word "Terrorism"? Honestly, what thought enters your mind?

For many people in America today, the word "Terrorism" evokes visions of 9/11, or some fanatical Islamic extremist with a bomb and little to no common sense. Without a doubt, there are many in America who believe that all Terrorist come from the Middle East, and they are evil people who only seek to destroy Israel and the United States. These people cringe at the sight of a person with Middle Eastern Features regardless of whether that person was born in the United States or not.

I would venture to say that if we were to do a random sample of the American population today, and ask them to identify a terrorist, better than 90% would insist that terrorists wear turbans. Very few would even identify with the terrorists who wear hoods.

Let's look at some definitions of terrorism:

Notice how each definition is a variation of a centralized theme. Terrorism is the act of using threats, or force in an attempt to coerce and intimidate. Why is that important? The answer is in the news we watch on a daily basis.

Nooses hanging from a tree, nailed to a professor's door, drug behind vehicles, or otherwise displayed are a clear and present indication of terrorism. They represent a threat to do bodily harm to a select grouping of the population. White Supremacy propaganda websites suggesting to "drag" people "from their houses" is an open terrorist threat. Slanderous taunts on people based on their race, creed, gender, religious preference, or sexual orientation is terrorism.
The trouble with the terrorism mentioned in the previous paragraph is that it has been tolerated to the point of acceptance in the American culture. In many cases, such as cross burnings, or the painting or Neo-Nazi symbols has been regarded as mere expressions of Free Speech in America. It is that level of tolerance that has allowed racism to fester in America, and thus turned our country into a nation of hypocrites.

America has adopted a DAISNAID (Do As I Say, Not As I Do) approach to combatting global terrorism. We seek to crush terrorism in other countries, but have failed to clean out our own back yard. We chase down terrorist organization like the Taliban and Al Quida, but we over look internal terrorist such as the Klu Klux Klan, The Aryan Nation, Street Gangs, and so on. We fight to liberate others from the throws of oppression, yet racism and tainted legal systems allow people in America to suffer the pains of oppression.

Last I checked, America is part of the same globe as the other countries that make up our planet, Earth. If we are truly expecting to be successful in our global war on terrorism, we must combat it on every corner of the globe. So, while our troops are fighting the war on foreign shores, we at home should be doing everything in our power to combat domestic terrorism.

Take a stand against racism, against sexism, against gender bias, religious persecution. Take a stand against any act of terrorism in our country. This is my country, and this is your country. This is our country.

Take a real stand! Push your Congress Person for stronger laws against hate crimes.

Take a real stand! Hold your employer accountable to maintain a harassment free work place.

Take a real stand! Get the guns out of the hands of our youth.

Take a real stand! Vote corruption out of the legal system, and put non-biased people in.

Take a real stand! Show the domestic terrorists we are sick and tired of their foolishness.

Oh My God, They're Black!

Those Staring Eyes


JACKSONVILLE FL --I walk into a restaurant, and I get the feeling as if I am an off shoot from a Tu Pac video, "All Eyes On Me". They stare me down from head to toe as if I just stepped off the bus from Hollywood; or is it Selma Alabama?

Now, please do not take this in the wrong light, but by "They" I am referring to white people in the south. I would imagine that it does not take a rocket scientist to determine that I am not white. They, the white people of the south, fix their eyes on me as if I am some new kind of exhibit, never before seen in this country.

They stare as if to say "Oh My God's, he's black."

Well, as a matter of fact, I am. Wow, and the amazing thing is it took me to move to the south before I honestly became aware of that fact. Kind of make a person want to quote a saying from the movie "Bad Boys" when Martin Lawrence said "Don't be alarmed, we're negros."

Now, I have not taken it that far, but I have made the comment that some of "These People" act like "They have never seen a black person before."

Yes, I became defensive as a result of their stares of ignorance. I, my wife, and sister in law walk into a Shoney's in Kingsland GA, and the White customers stare us down as if we should be the one's serving the food. What? Have we gotton caught in a racial time warp or something? Maybe the south is still reeling from what Lincoln did to it in the 1860's; who knows?

Now I know there are some who are going to take this the wrong way, and my advice to you is "Grow up and catch up with the times."

We are not the frightented "Coloreds" that your grand parents used white sheets and hoods to scare. As much as you may or may not like it, we are not going anywhere. Your eyes can cut into us with your hatred of race, and regardless of how you feel, we will still be in your face.

Bottom line is this America, We are a nation of diversity, embracing various races, and sharing a common blood. If you can not deal with that, you may want to consider relocating to some other country that will accept your level of ignorance. I hear Germany is looking for a few good morons.

Who's Your Daddy?

Al Sharpton Amidst A Strom Of Controversy

JACKSONVILLE FL -- It had often been said that if one digs too deeply, he is bound to discover something he really did not want. The curious nature of man will not permit us to stop digging at a predefined level, thus we continue to sift through the dirt that laid dormant for ages. Sometimes our sifting uncovers a piece of rock that is to big to fall through the holes in the pan. That kind of rock was recently dropped into the lap of Reverend Al Sharpton.

For more than 40 years, Al Sharpton has been a vocal figurehead of the push for African American civil rights. His statements, be they all just, were often deemed to be overtly provocative again the "Establishment" [white run Federal Government]. Some of his statement were even considered to be borderline racist in a sense. Let us pause there for a moment, and talk about another individual.

One of the longest seated members of Congress was Strom Thurman. Strom made no bones about his position on matters of civil liberties, affirmative action, and African Americans in general. Strom Thurman was once classified and the "Biggest Bigot In Congress" even surpassing Jessie Helms of North Carolina. If anyone represented the embodiment of the "Establishment", Strom Thurman was such a man.

With the foregoing thought in mind, one would find it easy to believe that Al Sharpton would bump heads with Strom Thurman on more than 90% of the issues. My extremely wise mother once told me that "it is easy to tell brothers by the way they fight".

A recently genealogy survey was performed and the results was a revelation that not even Al Sharpton was prepared to accept or believe. According to the survey, Al Sharpton is distantly related to Strom Thurman. This would not normally be a surprising revelation for many Americans by virtue of the fact that there nothing in America is purely black or purely white anymore; indeed, the bloods lines of slave owners and that of their slaves were mixed quite frequently as anyone named Jefferson may attest. Regardless, Al Sharpton is in staunch denial of the results. He [Sharpton] has always maintained that his family is rooted in Chicago. What Al Sharpton failed to realize is that many freed slaves migrated to Midwestern states like Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio. That fact alone makes it possible that tainted bloodlines may have taken root in those states as well. With that thought in mind, it is extremely possible that Al Sharpton's bloodline may be tied to that of Strom Thurman.

As previously stated, nothing is pure in America anymore. America is a melting pot of multiple diverse cultures. It is very fair to say that if David Duke were to dig deep enough, he may find a little chocolate syrup on the whipped cream. This writer feels that even if he [me] were to dig deeply, he may discover that he is distantly related to one he is not very fund of. "Can't Do It, Won't Happen, Just Wouldn't Be Prudent".

Cherokee Nation Votes To Boot Freedmen

A Blow To African American Cultural Identity

JACKSONVILLE FL --- In a recent move which came as a shock to many, the Cherokee Nation recently voted to remove the descendants of freed slaves from their citizenship roles. This is a decision that has a direct impact on more than 3000 African American descents, and an indirect -albeit social-impact on hundreds of thousands more.

After the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, and the subsequent freeing of those held in the bondage of slavery, the Federal Government forced he Cherokee Nation to include freed slaves as members of the tribe. Basically, many freed slaves went from one form of slavery into another as the Cherokee still regarded the freed slaves as servants.

Freed African slaves have lived as part of the Cherokee Tribal Nation for more than 100 years, an arrangement that produces a notable mixture of the two races. Without a doubt, very few African American can actually claim not to have any affiliation with the Cherokee Nation, or other Native American communities for that matter. This writer's own Grandfather was a full blooded Cherokee named Arthur McIntosh.

In a sense, the vote is understandable when we consider the relationship between the Cherokee Nation and the freed African Slaves was one of a forced convenience to the Federal Government. The inverse is in the fact that bother cultures were essentially regarded as throw away entities by the Federal Government. The fear that many African Americans express as a result of this recent move is in that although the Cherokee Nation will regain it's identity, the African American culture will be left with one, again.

Sheriff Blasted For Not Being A Sheriff

JACKSONVILLE, FL--I recently observed in the news that Sheriff John Rutherford, and several civic leaders recently decided to hold a "Walk Against Violence" in the North Jacksonville Neighborhood of Panama Park.

According to the news, Sheriff Rutherford was drawn into a heated exchange with members of that community over the fact that the police department has done little to quell the rising tide of gun violence, drugs and prostitution in that area. Several of the neighbors regarded the Sheriff's efforts as nothing more than a mere band-aid approach to an ever festering wound.

Since John Rutherford was elected as Sheriff of Jacksonville nearly four years ago, the city has witnessed a marked increase in gun violence, including several shootings by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Department itself. These shootings are further compounded by the overtly lackadaisical response to emergency situations.

John Rutherford's campaign was one of reform, dedicated to removing the corruption that developed in the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office during the Nathaniel Glover administration while fostering a renewed faith within the communities at large. John Rutherford often cited Nataniel Glover to be one of the chief reasons for the deterioration of the department, despite the fact that violent crime in Jacksonville has increased exponentially since Rutherford was sworn in as Sheriff.

Although the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, under Nathaniel Glover, suffered such negative press as the coerced confession of Brandon Frasier, and several investigations by Internal Affairs, the Office still managed to keep the crime rate to but a mere fraction of what we have experienced under John Rutherford.

Panama Park is the latest in a series of black marks for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office since the election of John Rutherford. The Panama Park community has been promised police protection, but has only witness the token effort of patrols that lasted not more than a month or two. In the mean time, the neighborhood continued to deteriorate, prostitutes continued to accost the school children, and drug lords continued to terrorize the neighborhood. With that, John Rutherford wonders why he was greeted in the manner that he experienced during his "Walk To End Violence".

In the humble opinion of this writer, if John Rutherford had done the job he was elected to do from the beginning, he most likely would not have received such an icy reception. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Department is only as good as its leadership, and honestly speaking, the leadership of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has not been too good over that past four to eight years.

Some of you may not agree with this current stance, but I felt it was time to do something that would stand in the face of all of those who believe we are doing the right thing by planning to attack Iran. See, there is a human face to war. Most of us tend not to realize that fact because we only see war through the eyes of the media.

War is more than what the media portrays it to be. It is more than what President Bush tells in his Kindergarten level speeches. We are losing soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines to a conflict where the cause as not been clearly justified. We went to war in Iraq for Weapons of Mass Destruction that did not exist. Now George Bush is wanting to attack Iran and do so using the same WMD lie that he told America and the United Nations before the invasion of Iraq. There were only a few savvy Americans - like myself - who knew Bush really wanted to invade Iraq so he could kill the man who threatened his father. Bush is anything but truly bright.

Now Bush wants to attack Iran? Does he not realize that an action such as that could lead to World War III? Is Bush completely banking on the fact that most of America is completely uneducated when it come to matters of the geographical significance of an attack on Iran? Pentagon Plans To Bomb Iran

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Despite the Bush administration's insistence it has no plans to go to war with Iran, a Pentagon panel has been created to plan a bombing attack that could be implemented within 24 hours of getting the go-ahead from President George W. Bush, The New Yorker magazine reported in its latest issue.


The special planning group was established within the office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in recent months, according to an unidentified former U.S. intelligence official cited in the article by investigative reporter Seymour Hersh in the March 4 issue.

The panel initially focused on destroying Iran's nuclear facilities and on regime change but has more recently been directed to identify targets in Iran that may be involved in supplying or aiding militants in Iraq, according to an Air Force adviser and a Pentagon consultant, who were not identified.

The consultant and a former senior intelligence official both said that U.S. military and special-operations teams had crossed the border from Iraq into Iran in pursuit of Iranian operatives, according to the article.

In response to the report, Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said: "The United States is not planning to go to war with Iran. To suggest anything to the contrary is simply wrong, misleading and mischievous.

"The United States has been very clear with respect to its concerns regarding specific Iranian government activities. The president has repeatedly stated publicly that this country is going to work with allies in the region to address those concerns through diplomatic efforts," Whitman said.

Pentagon officials say they maintain contingency plans for literally dozens of potential conflicts around the world and that all plans are subject to regular and ongoing review.

The article, citing unnamed current and former U.S. officials, also said the Bush administration received intelligence from Israel that Iran had developed an intercontinental missile capable of delivering several small warheads that could reach Europe. It added the validity of that intelligence was still being debated.

The article also included an interview conducted in December with Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who said that while he had no interest in initiating another war with Israel, he was anticipating and preparing for another Israeli attack sometime this year.

Israel launched a cross-border offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon last July.

Nasrallah also said he was open to talks with Washington if such discussions "can be useful and influential in determining American policy in the region," but they would be waste of time if the purpose was to impose policy.

Ok Rip Van Winkle, if you thought I was merely ranting before, the aforementioned new article give credibility to my rant.

How many countries my we attack before we begin to realize that George Bush is behaving like Alexander The Great. People, this war is no longer about Terrorism, and I truly believe it never was. This war is about a presidential administration that is hell bent on taking over the world.

Our nation has taken a broad step toward World War III. Iran has done nothing to the United States, and their military is defensive. If Iran was as aggressive as the Bush Administration is trying to make them out to be, the Iran would have tried to invade Afghanistan, or even Iraq by now.

Iran was simply minding their business, and refraining from getting involved in the action that America initiated in Afghanistan, and Iraq. Iran builds a nuclear power plant, and because of that, George Bush is insisting that Iran is building nuclear weapons. Even if Iran was in the process of enriching Uranium, they would be nearly a decade away from developing any kind of legitimate nuclear weapon.

People, George Bush wants Iran because they are the only nation still standing in the way of America building the nature gas pipeline that Michael Moore spoke about. America has no real justification for attacking Iran, just as we had no real justification for attacking Iraq. Bush is sending our soldiers and contractors to die for a ficticious cause. The bad thing is, Bush is using the United Nations as the extended voice of America. It is hard to believe that the member states of the United Nations are nothing more than puppets who's strings are pulled by the United States.

People, the world and history will judge America by virtue of our actions in this our present day. With that thought in mind, it is important to note that all it took was one small boy and five smooth stones.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police said shots were fired at a Northwest Jacksonville middle school on Thursday and a 16-year-old boy is in custody in connection with the shooting.

According to authorities, at about 6:15 p.m., a fight took place during a basketball game inside Paxon Middle School's gymnasium, and a kid was punched in the jaw.

School officials removed several children from the gym for fighting.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said moments after the kids were tossed out of the school, one of them fired two shots in the air.

"It was bang, bang -- two shots. Right after the shots, I came outside, and the kids ran right down there," said Justin Baltin.

Officials said the school resource officer went out of the gym when he heard the shots, and two teenagers believed to be involved were apprehended and a gun fell to the ground.

JSO said a third teenager, 16-year-old Courtney Hendley, picked up the weapon and fired two shots at the officer. The shots missed, and no one was hit.

"At this point, we don't know what triggered the altercation. All we know is that there was a fight inside the gym, school staff removed the participants and a short time later gunshots were heard outside," said JSO Lt. Mike Eason.

The two teens seized by the resource officer were taken into custody shortly after the incident. Hendley was arrested around 11 p.m. Police said he was found at his home and taken into custody without incident.

According to authorities, none of the teens they believe were involved in the incident attend Paxon Middle School.

Police said Hendley is a person of interest in the attempted shooting of a police officer. They also said Hendley is a person of interest in another shooting and that they have been looking for him.
Hendley has been arrested on four separate occasions in connection with drugs and fighting, police said.

It is truly a crying shame that our schools are not even safe from guns. How in the world did the gun get on campus in the first place? That was more of a rhetorical question than anything else. Our nation has become too carefree when it comes to firearms. It is too easy for people, the wrong people to acquire a weapon. There are no controls over firearms any more.

The travesty of the story mentioned above is the fact that I know this kid. He was a student in my 4th period class when I substituted at Paxon Middle School. He was trouble then, and I see things have not changed in the least.

So here we have it, someone brandishes a firearm, takes two shots in the air, and drops the weapon. This young kid picks the gun up, and takes two shots at the police. This event never would have occurred if the gun was not introduced to the school campus in the first place.

I know I am about to strike a nerve with the NRA, but I will be honest when I say that I do not care about the feelings of anyone associated with the NRA at this moment. As I see it, the NRA encourages wanton abuses of the Second Amendment. My thought is instead of the NRA spending so much money on courting those ignorant Republican Lawmakers, the money would be far more better spent on educating America on the proper uses of firearms, and introducing a system that will ensure guns will not end up in the hands of the people who should not have them. Better than that, let's just get rid of guns completely in America. We should make it so that the only organizations who carry firearms are the US Military, and then only in the discharge of their official duties. Oh, I can feel the NRA blood boiling now.

People, we have taken the Right to Bear Arms a little too far in this country. Everyone has a gun, just about, and they are too easy to get. The background checks are a joke, and the safeguards are worthless. Mean while, the NRA is busy blowing the Republican Presidential Front Runners to ensure that there will be no legislation limiting the use and distribution of firearms in America. As a result, firearms end up in schools, in churches, hospitals, etc.

You know, when I was in Junior High School, my school - Shaw Jr. High in Washington DC- was criticized because we had metal detectors, and all of the students were subject to "The Wand" (hand held metal detector).People said that my school was violating the rights of the students. I can say this, we did not have any problems with students sneaking guns into the school. I said that to say this; If the NRA is not going to do the responsible thing and find ways to ensure guns do not end up in the wrong hands, then maybe every school in America should be equipped with metal detectors. If you truly believe that the children are our future, then we must do something now, because the future is not looking too good at this point.

Democracts Rub Dick The Wrong Way

Ok, before you get up at arms about the title, I am talking about Dick Cheney. Now pull those minds out of the gutter.

Well America, unless you were one of the few Van Winkles who slept through the past few days, you know that the Democratic Congress has voted to limit the war effort in Iraq. This is the first time in many years that our Congress has actually done something that made a great deal of sense.

America has wasted so much money, and lost too many troops to an endeavor that has no clearly defined exit strategy. Bush has tauted the "Stay The Course" message for years, but the course is no more clearer now than it was 5 years ago. Now we have Dick Cheney trying to paint Congress as unpatriotic because the vote was in favor of getting our men and women the heck out of the fire.

Cheney stands on the grounds that we need to be sure that the mission is complete. What is the mission? Has either Bush, Cheney, or Rice clearly defined what the mission is? Unless I misheard, I would have sworn that Bush stated America would not occupy the nation of Iraq. Well that statement was made in 2003, and to this date we still have forces in Iraq. It does not take Websters to define our actions as occupation. Trouble is, Bush still has yet to clearly justify our continued involvement in Iraq. Yes, realize he is hiding behind the banner of we are building the Iraqi Military/Police force, but with the time and effort we have expended thus far, the Iraqi military ought to be as credible as the British Military by now.

Again, I pose the question, what is the mission? What are we aiming to accomplish? Has anyone else read the news lately? The United States Nations (oh sorry, United Nations) is saying that Iran is now in violation of a resolution prohibiting the enrichment of uranium. Sound familiar? It should, it is the same dog gone swan song Bush used in 2003 to justify invading Iraq. Oh, I forgot, most of you were most likely asleep at the time. Wake up America. The mission that the White House is tap dancing around is the positioning of our troops for an invasion of Iran. Just like Michael Moore predicted in the movie that most of America said is a lie. Go rent a copy and watch it, see if it is not true.

We are the smartest nation in the world, but most of us are so easily fooled by a smooth talking moron. Wake up America! As for the Democrats, Way To Go. I think Congress did an awesome job. Force the White House to do the right thing, follow the lead of the British, and pull our forces out. If Dick Cheney wants that Natural Gas Pipeline so badly, let him is G W go over and build the darned thing. Bring our troops home, NOW!

What Is African American?

Funny thing happened to me on the way to work this morning. I was listening to my favorite radio show, the Tom Joyner Morning Show, and it just so happened that there was a discussion about how Barack Obama had to "Defend His Blackness" in South Carolina.

Seems there were some comments made about whether Senator Obama should be considered African American. Someone made a statement, as ignorant as this may sound, that only people who are descendant from West African Slaves can be considered African American.

Ok, my question is this; just how stupid is stupid? Barack Obama's mother is white, but his father is from Kenya Africa. His father is also an American Citizen, so to me that would qualify Senator Obama to be African American. In fact, there are several white people in America who are considered to be African American simply because their ancestry is from South Africa. I recall as a Navy Recruiter, I enlisted a young man was I thought was definitely Anglican. We had a quota for African American Recruits at the time, and I advised the young man that he would have to wait to join the Navy. It was at that time the young lad corrected my ignorance by advising me that his father and grand father were both born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. That qualified the young lad as African American, no matter how white his features were.

Coming back to Senator Obama, his father is from Kenya, and Kenya is a part of Africa. He may not have been a slave, but he is definitely African American. I guess being an author does not make a person intelligent. It is a crying shame that even after more than 400 years, America is still stuck in the muck and the mire of racism. It really blows me away to think that the only thing this author had to throw at Obama is a childish attack on his racial background. It is amazing that the most blessed nation in the world is the most uneducated nation as well.

Bush Has A Woody For A Fight

Ok America, listen to this, it is very important.

As you may know, the Democratic Congress is making it hard for Bush to surge troops into Iraq. Way to go Congress, that is what the "Check and Balance" system us all about. We, the American people are standing up singing that old Twisted Sister song "We're Not Going To Take It Anymore". Trouble is, Bush is still trying to get his rocks off, and check out how he is doing it.

Seeing that there is a wall of opposition against boosting the troop levels in Iraq, Bush has ordered a boosting of the troop strength in Afghanistan. In other words, since Iraq can not be the primary front for his attack on Iran, he will use Afghanistan instead.

I like George W. Bush, for he is so easy to read. Reagan would have been a little less obvious. People, ever since Bush entered office, he has been itching for a fight with someone. Remember the EP-3 Orion incident off of the coast of China? You know, the Chinese lost an F-8 fighter after it attempted to direct the EP-3 out of Chinese air space? Oh, let me guess, you forgot about that since it happened several month before 9/11.

Trouble is Bush is anything but a negotiator. He harbors a conqueror's mentality. Bush just wants to fight everyone, but has no justification to do so. Perhaps we need to ask him why he has not invaded North Korea yet. Was he not at odds with that nation as well? I will answer that question.

Afghanistan and Iraq had one thing in common, they would not stand a fighting chance against the American military, and Bush knew it. He thinks the same about Iran. North Korea, on the other hand, would have given Bush a run for his money, and the Chinese would have come to their aid. Bottom line is George W. Bush is nothing more than a school yard bully who seeks out the weaker kid to extort his lunch money. Yes, I said it. In this case, the lunch money is the ransom of the free world.

Bush is evoking the ancient ways of Western Civilization, and seeking to dominate the world by any means. This was is not about terrorism, it is about throwing a smoke screen over the eyes of the free world. If the war was about "Global Terrorism" why is it that no action is being taken to bring down the Klu Klux Klan, the Skinheads, the Aryan Nation, the Bloods, the Crips, etc? Is not America part of the same globe as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran?

People, take a moment, go to Blockbuster and rent Fahrenheit 911, and watch it. You may be surprised about the prediction made by Michael Moore. Bush has a hard on for a fight, and if Laura can not handle it, there are plenty of prostitutes in NW DC who are more than willing to help him out. America, Bush is treating our military as if they are action figures in a GI Joe game. The only difference is that you can bring the soldiers back to life in the games; can't do that in real life.
